2 Cor 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
*All the promises of God are affirmed & fulfilled in Christ, giving glory to God through us.
21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;
*It is Christ that has placed us together in Christ & set us apart by His Spirit is God
22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
*He has secured us as His own & given us a down payment of the Spirit in our hearts.
Eph 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
*Do not sadden / trouble the spirit of God, by which you are secured until the day of deliverance.
Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
*How do we receive this promise of inheritance?
Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
*This is the Holy Spirit of God; our earnest of salvation. >
Rom 8:9...Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
