1 Cor 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
*We are the temple of His glory, a dwelling place for His spirit. We are made to worship him as He directs all our works in truth. He desires to make His everlasting abode in our hearts, so He can rejoice over His awesome work with exceeding joy! He is our creator & we belong to him! >
1 Cor 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
*We should continually give Him thanks for His great sacrifice for our sins. We can in no way repay Him for His mercy & grace, but we can strive to do our best to honor His word & be ever thankful for His deep abiding love toward us.
